What we do
Pet questions often come down to a number, and the number you find depends on where you look. PawsRuler builds small, free tools on published veterinary and professional references, shows the answer as a range when the source does, and puts the source next to it.
We start with five areas: age, growth and weight, feeding, pregnancy and gear sizes. Guides that explain the numbers in more depth follow.
Where the answers come from
From references such as the American Kennel Club, the AVMA, AAHA, WSAVA, the Merck Veterinary Manual and the ASPCA. Sources and methods explains how each tool uses them.
What we are not
We aren’t veterinarians, and the tools aren’t veterinary advice. Every pet is an individual: your veterinary team knows yours and has the last word on health, diet and care.
